Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern use of the Spot Memory app (the “App”) provided by JerryWorks (“we”, “us”, or the “operator”), including the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the operator.

2. Service

  1. The App stores photos you capture, a floor label, and a memo on your device, then displays them to help you find your parking spot.
  2. If you allow it, the floor and memo may be shown in notifications or on your device's lock screen while parked. A selected photo may also be shown when a rewarded-ad trial is active.
  3. The App may show banner ads and optional rewarded ads.
  4. The current service does not include user accounts, operator-side synchronization of parking records, paid purchases, or GPS-based navigation.

3. Use and Permissions

  1. You may review these Terms and the Privacy Policy and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  2. Camera and notification permissions are requested in context when you choose the related feature. You may limit or revoke them in OS settings; related features may then be unavailable.
  3. The App is a parking-memory aid. It does not guarantee a vehicle's actual location, parking availability, security, or safety, and it is not a navigation service.

4. Your Records and Sharing

  1. Photos, floor labels, and memos are stored on your device by default. They may not be recoverable after deletion or uninstallation.
  2. When capturing or sharing photos or memos that may contain other people, vehicle plates, venue information, or other third-party information, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary rights or permissions.
  3. If you choose to share a spot card, the photo, floor, and memo may be composed into an image and sent to the external app you select or to the system clipboard. That external app, the OS, and its recipient handle the content under their own policies.

5. Ads and Rewarded Trial

  1. The App may show ads to support the free service. Ads may be provided through third-party SDKs such as Google AdMob.
  2. After you choose to view and complete a rewarded ad, we may grant a trial for the next three successfully saved parking records. Under the current feature set, this can include lock-screen photo display, up to three photos per spot, and spot-card sharing. If you start a rewarded ad from a sharing prompt in Find car or record details, you can tap the current record's Share button after completion; that current-record share does not use one of the three trial records.
  3. The trial is not cash, points, currency, a stored-value right, or a paid-payment method. It cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for money.
  4. Ads or trials may be unavailable temporarily due to ad inventory, network conditions, OS behavior, or an ad provider. A trial is granted only after the ad provider confirms that viewing is complete.
  5. Saving a parking record and finding your car do not require watching a rewarded ad. We may change the trial's scope or conditions within applicable law and the service scope, with notice for material changes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  1. interfere with normal App or ad operation, or attempt to obtain a trial by improper means;
  2. reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or otherwise infringe the operator's rights in the App; or
  3. use the App or sharing features in a way that violates law or third-party rights.

7. Changes or Suspension

We may change or suspend all or part of the service for legal, security, technical, advertising-environment, or service-improvement reasons. For changes that materially affect user rights, we will provide notice in advance where reasonable, or promptly where advance notice is not possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, network failures, device or OS errors, or failures of advertising providers or external services.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for record loss caused by deletion, device loss or replacement, or uninstallation.
  3. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for our intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms when necessary. We will post the effective date and a summary of material changes on the current Terms page. For changes that materially affect user rights, we will provide a separate notice before the change or promptly when advance notice is not possible.

12. Language and Governing Law

The Korean version is authoritative for users in the Republic of Korea. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
