Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

JerryWorks ("we", "us", or the "operator") operates the Spot Memory mobile app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Your parking records stay on your device. We do not operate user accounts and do not maintain a server-side database of your parking records.

You can view this policy in the App via Settings → "Privacy Policy".

2. Information We Process

We do not require sign-up or server accounts. The following information may be created and stored on your device or collected automatically as described:

We do not upload or synchronize parking-record information to an operator-run parking-record server. Parking-record originals remain on your device. We do not collect or use precise location, and we do not send coordinates to map APIs.

3. How We Use Information

We process information only to:

1. Record and display parking photos, floor, and memo, and provide saved-history lists and details;
2. Provide "Find car" (on-device photo full view) and lock-screen / notification display while parked;
3. Improve quality, diagnose errors, and protect security (Section 6 — Firebase);
4. Show ads and provide current-record sharing or a limited trial for the next three saved records after a rewarded-ad view;
5. Comply with legal obligations and handle disputes.

4. Data Retention and Destruction

1. Parking records on your device are retained until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App.
2. We do not store parking records on operator servers, so we do not control retention outside your device.
3. Technical logs processed by external services (Section 5) follow each provider's retention policy.
4. Destruction: Deleting records in the App or uninstalling removes on-device parking records. Deleting records does not necessarily reset separate app preferences, such as an ad-trial balance. Data processed by external services follows each provider's policy.

5. External Services and Possible International Processing

We may use the external services and SDKs below for operation, security, quality improvement, and advertising. Technical or advertising-related information may be processed by the providers under their policies and settings, including in data centers outside the Republic of Korea. We do not place parking photos, floor labels, or memo contents in Firebase Analytics events or Crashlytics logs.

If you choose sharing, the App combines the photo, floor, and memo into an image and passes it to the external app you select or to the system clipboard. Processing after that point is governed by the selected app's or OS's policy.

Google's and Cloudflare's privacy policies are available at Google and Cloudflare. We update this policy and the Play Console declarations if the connected services or processing categories change.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures including:

• Administrative: minimization, sub-processor selection and oversight;
• Technical: signed app builds, official store distribution;
• Physical: parking records stored on-device only, minimizing server-side exposure.

Device loss, malware, or other device-level security remains partly your responsibility.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you can:

1. Delete parking records and photos on your device through "Delete all records" or an individual-record deletion action;
2. Access or correct data through on-device actions (we hold no operator-side parking-record database);
3. Contact us (Section 10) for privacy questions or to exercise rights available under applicable law.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

1. We do not set our own analytics or marketing cookies on the policy web page. Cloudflare may process cookies or connection data for security and performance — see Cloudflare's policy.
2. The App may automatically collect device/app identifiers via Firebase Analytics. Parking photos, floor labels, and memos are not in analytics events.
3. Limit collection: OS controls such as limit ad tracking, or uninstall the App. We do not currently offer an in-app analytics opt-out toggle; if added, this policy will be updated.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children and is intended for users 13 and older (Play Store target audience). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age (13 in the US, 14 in the Republic of Korea, 13–16 in parts of the EEA depending on Member State). Contact Section 12 if you believe a child's information was collected. Parking records are on-device only and can be deleted in the App or by uninstalling.

We may amend this policy as laws or the service change. We post the effective date and a summary of material changes on this page. For changes that materially affect users' rights, we provide advance notice where feasible or notice promptly if advance notice is not feasible.

This English document is a translation for convenience. The Korean-language policy is authoritative if the versions conflict.
